  I’m helping a friend w/a new website.. before we even got together initially to start working on it, she went to wp.org and purchased a them (“enfold”)

  can we use this theme wp.com? we want to do the website in such a way that she can do her own edits, etc.. so it seems to me wp.com is obviously the better option for her…

  can she use this newly-purchased theme at wp.com?

  Go to wherever you made the purchase, explain you cannot use it and why, and ask for a refund.
