Purchased Theme-How to Download into new site?

    Hello,
    I purchased the hoarder theme http://www.themezilla.com/themes/hoarder/

    But I do not know how to upload this to my new blog I set up? Help?

    We cannot use themes purchased and downloaded from online on WordPress.COM. Those themes are for wp.ORG, a different platform.

    The themes we can use here are found here:
    http://wordpress.com/themes/
    or
    dashboard—>appearance—>themes

    Similar question. I’m wondering if I didn’t read the fine print for Premium Themes on WordPress.com…

    Here is my situation. I found a Premium Theme I liked in the WordPress.com gallery. I purchased it for $79 and installed it. It took like 3 seconds and was super simple. But my ultimate goal was to install this theme on wordpress blog not hosted by wordpress.com. I want the flexibility to add plug-ins and other things.

    Question: Am I locked into only being able to use the Premium Theme I purchased on WordPress.com…on wordpress.com? Can I download a ZIP file and install it elsewhere? This is what I have done in the past with all the other themes I found and use, I just assumed WordPress.com would allow me to download and intall a theme I paid &79 for.

    No. Get a refund and then contact the theme designer directly and ask to buy a version that can be run on WordPress>ORG software.

    I take it you did not read this:

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund from your dashboard.

    Thanks. Yeah, I didn’t read and just rushed in because I loved the theme. I’ll get the refund and see if I can download the theme directly from the developer. Thanks for the quick reply.
