Purchased Theme was Deactivated? HELP!

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi, I purchased the “delicious magazine” premium theme and it was running fine. I had all my preferences set. Today, I went to my dashboard, then previewed it and it was totally changed. I paid for my theme, so I expect to have access to it. Where can I go to reactive it without purchasing it again. That just wouldn’t be right. http://www.brealmagazine.com

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. At the moment, that blog is sporting the Titan theme. Perhaps did you accidentally switch to Titan? You should be able to simply switch back to Delicious by going to Appearance > Themes. Since you already paid for it, in theory, the system should not ask you to pay again. If it asks you to pay again, stop and report back here please.

You should be able to reactivate it via the Theme options on your dashboard. Does it not appear there?

    Appearance > Themes
    type in > Delicious Magazine
click “activate” on Delicious Magazine thumbnail image

When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer in the Premium Theme Support Forum.

There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard but do note you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it.

  • Hi colleenlois,

I took a look and our records show that you received a refund for the Delicious Magazine theme today (January 1st). Did you or someone else you know request this refund? Let us know, and we can look into it.

@colleenlois – you ask for and received a Theme refund in the forum a few days ago, did you ask for the refund on the wrong site?

Ah we’ve discovered the problem. I bought another theme for my blog, sexandthesouth.com, which was the theme that I requested the refund for “> Hi there, I purchased the Studiopress Magazine theme for sexandthesouth.com, but

    Hi There

I canceled your theme and refunded your payment. The refund usually takes about a week to process and appear in your statement.

I can help you find another theme that works for you – what kind of features or styles are you looking for?

Let me know if this helps and if you have any more questions.

    Ran, http://support.wordpress.com/”

It appears the wrong website was refunded. The other theme was a $75 premium theme, called something Magazine. I didn’t like it. However I was quite happy with the “Delicious Theme” for brealmagazine.com

Can someone please revert it back and be sure that the other premium theme is the one that is addressed? Thanks for your help.

  • Hi colleenlois,

Since you have been refunded for both themes, you can go ahead and purchase Delicious Magazine again for brealmagazine.com. We apologize for the confusion.

  • Hi colleenlois,

It looks like you’ve got Delicious Magazine set up again on your site, so I will mark this topic as resolved.
