Purchased Theme will not download

    The theme Hotel that I purchased will not download. I contacted Bluehost and they said that WordPress would have to assist, that they couldn’t fix the problem

    Hi there!

    Do you remember where you purchased the theme from? You’ll need to contact the company where you bought your theme for help. Premium themes on WordPress.com (with us) can only be used on WordPress.com sites. Since your site is on Bluehost, you would have had to purchase your theme from a different site.

    I’d also like to clarify that your WordPress site uses the open-source WordPress.org software and is hosted by Bluehost. We can help with WordPress.com sites on this forum. There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it: WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org.

    Generally speaking, you’d want to contact your host (Bluehost) or post on the WordPress.org support forum if your host asks you to contact WordPress support. In this case, because you purchased a theme, I’d recommend contacting whoever you purchased the theme from.

    If you’d prefer our world-class support (the yearly Business plan gives you access to 24/7 live chat support, for example), you can migrate your entire site to WordPress.com. I recommend the Business plan for this, as you will get to use the same themes/plugins you already have on your site, but you are welcome to explore other WordPress.com plans.
