  If I just want to upgrade to the premium plan do you think I could pay for 2 months? I wouldn’t need it for the whole year.

  I am sorry but currently there are no monthly payment options available on any of the WordPress.COM plans.

  All the upgrades are billed annually, and the total purchase amount must be paid in full.

  If you want you can try and cancel your plan within 30 days and receive a full refund against the cancellation. Because WordPress.COM has a 30-day refund policy on all their plans.

  You can cancel your plans after 2 months as well if you like, but you wont be receiving any refunds against that. As it is outside the refund window. So the best thing to do in that case would be to use the plan for a year and let it expire.
