  I thought that you can have a blog totally free? Why is there a bill for $18.00 in my cart? I choose the free version. Thank you!

  Hi there, is it possible you accidentally added it to your cart? Regardless, you can remove it from your cart by clicking on the trash icon next to whatever appears there.

  Just to add to what @justjennifer already wrote: $18.00 sounds like domain registration. If you wish to have a free site, you’ll want to use the free subdomain, ending with .wordpress.com, for example.
