‘Purchases are currently disabled’

For some reason, WordPress blocked my ability to pay for my domain name and premium plan. I submitted a request to have the block removed, but haven’t heard back. Meanwhile, the AI assistant tells me that customer support from a human agent is only possible for premium users, which is maddening, because that’s exactly what I’m trying to become! Can anyone help me figure out how to get permission to upgrade my account? I have no clue why I’m being blocked. I tried deleting my cookies and caches and that didn’t change the situation.
