Purchases are currently disabled

I am trying to upgrade my account to a premium plan but whenever I try to check out I get the message that my purchases are disabled and have to contact support. Please help.

Hi there,
I see there was an issue with processing payments on your account, which we have since resolved.
You should be able to make a purchase if you try now. Can you let us know if you run into any further issues?

I just tried to subscribe to the premium plan and am still unable to make a payment, this is getting extremely frustrating.

At first it said
“quoting error AXLZNE”
so I thought I might have mistyped something so I tried again,on the second attempt is gave me the message;
“purchases are currently disabled please contact us to re-enable” -
You were able to complete your purchase, yes? I see a newly added Premium plan in your account when I look here. https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/
Were you able to sort this out on your own, or did you need a hand still?
