  Hello,

  I currently have a template based website through Go Daddy and I am in need of features not offered through the template based site so it was recommended I build. anew site on word press. I need to understanding how to set up a test domain and purchase the level I need. I own the domain with go Daddy and want to use it with the new site but not until I have it built out. What level do I need to purchase to be able to sell product and event tickets providing shipping and in person pick up options? How do I set up a test domain so I can build out the site?

  Hi there!

  You can get your site set up here before switching your domain over! Since you will need the ability to install plugins, you need to first purchase a Business or eCommerce plan.

  Once you get that plan in place and start installing plugins, you will have a free subdomain (*.wpstaging.com) that you can use to start building your new site.

  WooCommerce would be what you want to use to build your site – they have a number of free and premium extensions on their extension store where you can look up the various features you need like local pickup, etc.

  Note that the eCommerce plan comes with a selection of free and premium WooCommerce extensions, so it might be a better option to get the eCommerce plan if you need many of the extensions included in that plan. You can see what’s included here:
