  What do I need to purchase in order for anyone to be able to follow my blog? Not just people who belong to word press? Like if someone sees it n twitter or Facebook? They have gone back to word press no cannot see it. What is the least expensive way to do this? I also want to know if I can link this to my website? Thanks,

  Everyone on the internet can visit your public blog.

  None of what follows costs anything at all and there are no upgrades along the lines you suggest,.

  You can set up email subscriptions by using this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/

  If you would like a follow button to appear on the bottom right hand corner of your site for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts Go to your Dashboard. Click on Settings, then Reading and scroll down to Follower Settings
  These settings change emails sent from your blog to followers.
  Logged out users ___ Show follow button to logged out users.

  You have a two week old blog it takes a few months for search engines to get used to a new site.

  Add the buttons as noted above to make it easier for people to follow and share your blog
