Purchasing a Business Plan

  If I purchase the business plan for our company will we need to purchase the domain name from anywhere else? We would prefer a .com or .net address with our business name and wondered if this plan would include this or if an additional outside of wordpress purchase would need to be made.

  The plan will include a free domain credit which can be used to either register a new domain or map a domain you already own.

  We would prefer a .com or .net address with our business name

  That’s fine — you can register both .com and .net domains through WordPress.com, so no need to purchase them elsewhere. Once the plan is active on your account, you can choose a domain.
