  I would like to purchase and use my own .com address instead of the WordPress.com site. How can I do that?

  Here’s all the info you need:

  Register a New Domain

  That’s the simplest option. Alternatively, you buy the .com address from another website and map it to your WordPress.com site:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer
