Purchasing a domain

I am trying to purchase a domain.
The business I have is a different address than my own personal credit card. However, the business is registered on my personal credit card. It is saying invalid credit card number, exp date, credit card name, etc) I called my credit card union, and everything is correct and ready to be used. I am not sure why I cannot purchase a domain with my own personal credit card?
