  Hi, I dont want to delete my existing blog but i want to change the domain name and take a paid plan. Is it possible?

  Hi there,

  You can change your free example.wordpress.com address as explained here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

  However, note this cannot be reversed, and you won’t be able to use the current address again in future.

  But if you plan to upgrade to a paid plan, you can replace the free address with a custom domain (i.e. a domain without “wordpress” in it), without the need to make any change to the free address – the free address will be hidden, while visitors will just see your custom domain in that case.
