Purchasing a package

I try to purchase a package.
I press the $99 package and I get another page which tells me
You are almost done
But nothing happens after that.
How can I purchase a blog package?

You have to register a wordpress.COM blog first before you can purchase any upgrades for it. You you done that yet?

I already told you this thread is tagged for Staff and when they work their way forward to it they will assist you. All you need to do is register a .wordpress.COM blog URL here https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/ to apply an upgrade to. Please be patient while waiting.

There are many threads tagged for Staff and some were tagged before this one. I would be sure I am subscribed to this thread and then I would go to bed knowing Staff will email.

Hi @stegi1923, is it getting stuck when trying to add a domain? We’ve seen a few cases of this and I’m wondering if that is the issue.
If you’d like, can you go ahead and add the site using the free plan, then (after the site is created) try again to purchase Premium for that site? If it still does not work, we’ll add it from our end.

Ok it worked. It does not accepted my money but it gave me access to the free one.
Looks that you don't care to make money but how about my time?
I spent 24 hours work to get into a system which apparently has a bug.
Very poor marketing my guys.

I understand. If you’d like to help us sort it out, will you let us know what domain you tried to register? This does seem to be a bug, a very recent one at that, which (to complicated matters) is only affecting a few people. We’d like to get to the bottom of it.

I apologize if I used harsh language but I got very frustrated.
I am an old timer with computers and spending 24 hours to register drove me nut.
I am also the owner of professors-PhDs.com and I have a good understanding of worldpress.

Thanks Evangelos, I’m starting to suspect the hyphens. But it does only seem to happen if you’re creating the site and the domain at the same time, so you should be able to add the name now if you’d like. We’ll keep working on a fix. Cheers!
