Purchasing a plan (350/mo)

    Hello

    I would like to purchase a hosting and build my own website. But I don’t have ‘any’ coding knowledge. Before I make a purchase, I just want to know:

    1. Will I be able to design my own website from SCRATCH… Implement WHATEVER I want to / have on my mind.
    2. Will I have ALL the plugins and customization options available to me?
    3. What if I get stuck? Will you provide some form of tech support?

    I was going for 350/mo plan – Is this a good idea?

    Not to worry, coding knowledge isn’t necessary to create a website on WordPress.com. Bare in mind that WordPress.com is a host though, so you don’t need to purchase any other hosting.

    No, you’re required to select one of the themes from the WordPress.com theme directory unless your site has the Business Plan, in which case you can upload custom themes if you wish. You can see the themes here: https://wordpress.com/themes

    You do have several limitations on what you can do. An example of that is a lot of code is not allowed on WordPress.com for sites without the Business Plan, such as the ones listed here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

    2. Will I have ALL the plugins and customization options available to me?

    Sadly, only sites with the Business Plan can upload custom plugins. However, all sites do get access to some plugins automatically.

    Along with this, some plugins aren’t allowed on WordPress.com. Here’s a list of incompatible plugins: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incompatible-plugins/

    Unfortunately, I can’t answer this because you’ve not given the currency of the plan. Could you please rather state the plan’s name? (Personal/Premium/Business)
