Purchasing Business Plan inquiry

    Currently have a website but wanting to switch to a WP theme. Wanting to purchase business plan and curious to know. Once I do, am I able to change the site name they are showing

    Hi! Just to check – are you intending to host the (new) site with your current host?

    If so then you wouldn’t need a plan with us; our paid plans are specifically for sites we’re hosting here at WordPress.com.

    If you’re wanting to host here on WordPress.com then yes – you can absolutely purchase a plan with your site using the basic free “.wordpress.com” address and when you’re ready, you can connect the domain to your site here, and replace the basic free address with the domain!
