Purchasing domain

  If I purchase a domain for my current blog which is http://www.brokeandspoiled.wordpress.com, will I still have to purchase an upgrade to increase my media storage?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Looking at this link (https://wordpress.com/plans), we see that each of the packages come with a custom domain and also with a bigger storage, depending on the package.

  You should choose the the package depending on how much storage you need.
