Purchasing or upgrading – which is it?
-
If I am purchasing a premium theme, why when I go to pay does it say that I will be charged annually for a premium upgrade when I just want to purchase the theme and apply it to my free existing website already on wordpress.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Premium upgrade does NOT contain any premium themes.

Premium themes are purchased separately.

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and purchase upgrades for it. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

That doesn’t answer my question. I don’t want to purchase an upgrade just a new theme but when I go to pay for it, it says that I will be charged annually for an upgrade. The theme I want to purchase says it is a premium theme and is $69. That’s all I want.

The purchase of a premium theme is considered to be an upgrade.

Hi @tmmellway,
It looks like you were able to purchase the Photographer theme. I noticed you also submitted multiple requests to email support. I’ll respond to those now.
Cheers,
Jeremey
