Purchasing the Business Plan

Hi, I am looking into getting a WordPress business plan. For my site, I want to integrate a membership-based site as well as something that I am able to integrate a lineup optimizer I have from excel. Is that something I am able to do with WordPress business? If so how am I able to do so? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, a lineup optimizer is an excel based spreadsheet that takes in data for the given week and basically pumps out ideal lineups for fantasy sports. This has to be updated constantly but I just want to make sure that I am able to link the spreadsheet and the website so people are able to use it.

If you host it on Google Docs, we can embed it even on the free plan: https://wordpress.com/support/google-docs/#sheets
On the Business Plan, there are numerous plugins available to host and embed a straight Excel spreadsheet.

That’s Great! Thank you. I also wanted to ask another question. If I were to build a website on the business plan and then move my membership down to the free plan for a couple months given whats going on in the world, would I lose all the work I put into my upgraded website or would it just freeze and then I am able to access the site one I re-register to my upgraded account? How would this work? Thanks!

Note that plans are taken for a year (or two years) when you sign up. There is a 30 day refund window (96 hours in the case of domains) so you could downgrade from Business to free before the 30 days and be refunded or after 30 days but would then gain no financial advantage…only in both instances most likely wreck your site by losing any business plan only improvements you’d made to it.
