Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
Yes it is possible – it’s good to have a process or contingency in place should you and your client part ways.
You would need to know how to transfer site ownership/billing. https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
I hope this helps.

Thank you for the information.
I have looked at the link, and it seems a proper process will be purchasing a plan under our name first and transfer site ownership/billing to the customer.
However, this process will be hard in the case of renewal after a year of using the license.
How can we renew the customer’s website when we transfer site ownership/billing after new purchasing? -

Hi there,
How can we renew the customer’s website when we transfer site ownership/billing after new purchasing?
When you transfer the ownership to the customer, they will be responsible for all renewals and you will not be able to make renewals on their behalf. However we will email them periodically as the renewal date approaches so they are fully advised on the need to renew.
Can a company purchase Premium Plan?
We do not have a way to bill a company directly, so the purchase must come from an individual account. One thing you can do is to create a shared “master account” within the company that more than one person has access to (and login info is shared securely only within the organization) so that anyone in the company can log into that account and manage it if need be. That way you can put the upgrades under the shared master account, and then workers can use their personal login for day-to-day purposes.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
