put a background image in homepage

  hello,
  I would like to know how to put a background image just on the homepage.
  Currently I have a grey background with text and image and I would like to keep text and image but change the background.

  Hi. You are on the Twenty-Eleven theme, so it should be possible.

  Try this: Dashbooard –> Appearance –> Background –> Upload image

  That will change your background. But if, as I suspect, you are talking about the words and flowers, those are the header. For that, you upload a complete picture. If you want to change it (Dashbooard –> Appearance –> Header), I think you need to edit the picture using a programme outside of WordPress (like Paint) and then upload it.
