Put a permanent link on home page…need big help.

  Hi,
  I want to put a link on my home page of my blog –

  http://bwfcblog.wordpress.com/

  at the moment I think the only way can do it is to add the link in each individual post.
  I want a link maybe in the header or footer, or between the header and the first blog post.

  Can this be achieved?

  A bit like where the RSS feed button is on the right hand side, I would like a button/picture of my choice to appear above or below that and be able to link it to another site.

  Help will be massively appreciated.

  You can add links in the sidebar using the Text widget or the Links widget

  err, i am a bit dumb at this,
  can you give me a quick 1,2,3 points telling me what exactly I need to do to get it done.

  i mean so where do i need to go,
  open my blog thing,
  clicked on appearence
  widgets
  then i dragged the links theing over to the right where it says side bar

  now i am stuck again
