put code google analytics in posts

  I want to get google analytics on my site. I don’t find the place to put the script code. I have to put is before the final tag </head>. Were do I find that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can not edit code at WordPress.COM nor can you use Google Analytics here – the code is stripped for security reasons

  Are there options for enhanced analytics options at WordPress.COM? A key feature would be IP address filtering (to ignore my own vistings).

  You can use third party tracking that have plain html code that can be put in a text widget – no script allowed – there are several – Site Meter is a popular one – probably several others
