  Good evening. I want to put my blog on private. Nut it seems there is no Private option. How can do this please. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. The open source WordPress software does not include an option to set a site to private – that setting is unique to sites hosted on WordPress.com.

  To make a self-hosted WordPress site private, you’ll need to use a plugin like Maintenance Mode, or something similar. Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice about the best thing to use for this instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:
