Put sharing buttons on my front/home page
-
I’m sorry if this is a stupid question. I’m new at this.
I have managed to put the social media share buttons on all my post pages. (I am meaning the buttons where a reader can share the post to their own social media page). I can’t understand why they are not on my main page too. I’m calling it the main page – by that I mean my ‘front page’, the title page or start page.
Here’s the steps I’ve already taken.
1. Settings > Sharing> move the buttons I want to show into the Enabled section.
2. Choose Icon only, and Share this. Preview looks fine.
3. (Here’s the bit I don’t understand) ALL FIVE of the options are checked Yes. Including the Front Page – which I take to mean my main page…the one I’m talking about.
4. Likes on for all posts, don’t show reblog, and on for all comments.I CAN see the nice social media sharing buttons on all my post pages.
Why are they not on my ‘front’ main page?
Have I missed a setting in some other section? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
