Putting A Blog On Your Website?
-
I have a pre-existing website with a layout that I love. I can never find a layout I like with WordPress, Twitblogs, Blogspot, etc. Is there any way to post on WordPress and have those same posts appear on my website, WITH the ability to comment, WITH THE COMMENTS ALSO POSTING ON MY WEBSITE? Basically, how can I integrate my blog or a blog service directly onto my HTML/CSS-based website?

As far as i know, you cannot do that with a wordpress.com blog.
The most you could do ithink is using the feeds to publish your posts online on your site in an automatic basis.
Or use some feedburner tools for that. -
You want either a WordPress.ORG blog, or to put your WordPress.COM blog in an iframe. For neither of those things will you find instructions here; try WordPress.org or google.

Most commonly you do it using javascript. A quick Google search will help, but I always found this site helpful if you’re starting out:
http://www.rss-info.com/en_rssinclude-simple.html
Does the code for you, so no real thinking involved (read: us technologically challenged can’t screw it up)!

One caution on using an iframe with a wordpress.COM blog: it seems to mess up using the dashboard if I am remembering correctly and you will have problems posting and such.
My suggestion would be to install the software from .ORG and then move your blog over to a subdomain on your website.
