Putting a list of linked files on one page
-
I’m a newbie here at WordPress. I have a rather large blog of files and images that was created by someone else, and I am trying (finally) to tame it, make it my own and add new material. It documents the history of about 85 individual spray aircraft in my province. The sources were MSWord (2003) files.
Three of the pages consist of lists of the aircraft divided into three logical groups. I have started adding thumbnails to each of the links:

Is this possible in WP? Does anyone have any advice?
Could this be achieved by creating a table in Word then pasting it to a new page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, you need a table, but don’t use Word:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/You can use Windows Live Writer.
Or you can use code in the html editor – one possibility here:
Formatting text pt. 1: blank lines, alignment, wrap-around, two columns

Another way to avoid excessive scrolling is splitting the page into a series of numbered pages:

Somebody running the host company’s website solved this problem for me by manipulating tables in html. Thanks for your responses.
