Also, whenever you ask a question in the forums, please provide a link to the blog you are asking about. Or link your name to your blog. I’m bored and did a little checking to find your blog, but you’ll usually get quicker answers from us volunteers when you provide a link.

My bad.
I thought that would be considered plugging.http://alhamdulillah45.wordpress.com
I’ll try the solution you gave me. :)
-
Eek.
I don’t use the CSS bit.
Can it be done with the wizard in the dashboard?
I’m sure I have before… -
That is HTML, not CSS
What is the page title you want?
And what is the link to the external site you want, starting with http://(I think if you write out your link ( http://alhamdulillah45.wordpress.com ) when you make comments on other people’s blogs, it would be considered spam-my and rude, but in these forums we need to see your blog. Linking your name to your blog is not considered spam-my or rude.)

Thanks for that.
The external link I wish to add is http://s1.zetaboards.com/semiotic
And I want the link to appear as “Semiotic Forums”
-
First the general form to use for the title:
<a href="URL_OF_WEBPAGE_HERE">TITLE_HERE</a>
Copy and paste this into your new page:
<a href="http://s1.zetaboards.com/semiotic">Semiotic Forums</a> -

It worked. And thank you sooo much for your help.
But, I was wondering, is there anyway I could make it so you click the link next to ‘about’ and it opens a new window that goes to the forums? Thanks.
-
This might work:
target="_blank"
<a href="http://s1.zetaboards.com/semiotic" target="_blank">Semiotic Forums</a> -
Oh, sorry. WordPress strips out the target = _ ” blank”
So it will open in the same page only. -
