Putting a page on the home page

    Is there a way to make a page visible on the home page of the blog, among the recent posts, without making it a static page? I would like it to appear on the front page of the blog while it’s new, because that’s where most readers are. Is there a way to do this aside from publishing a link to the page (as a post) to alert them that there’s something new there? Oh, and I’m using the Freshy theme. Thanks so much for those who will take the time to answer.
