    On my sidebar, the widgets all run together, how do I put a space between them.
    especially “my favorite blogs and the rss widget.

    Inside a text widget you can use
    <br /> to create a space or you can use &nbsp;
    however I do not know how to create space between widgets.

    I don’t think you understand, when you put a widget box on the sidebar, how do you put a space between the box’s? Text1-Text2 ect.

    I don’t know that you can put additional space between widgets. That may be hard-coded into the theme. It may be possible with the CSS upgrade, but you might have to wait until one of the CSS guru’s show up.

    i think the solution may be to make sure your text widgets have titles. I notice that both the widget with your feed, Technorati, and BlogDigger links and the widget with the Fair Tax banner are text widgets, but they don’t have titles.

    If you don’t want the titles to say anything, try putting spaces or some other non-text characters in the title field.

    It is possible to make space by using
    one or more times at the end of you text. In that case you make (a) blank line(s). You can also use <hr> at the end of the text. In that case comes a horizontal line between the boxes.

    It is no possible to show HTML tags here. Use lesser than sign, br / and greater than sign.

    To post code in the forum, you have to place it between backtick’s (the key to the left of the #1 key).

    That’s what Timethief suggested in the second response :)

    Hi – I found that by adding an empty text widget helps. This will depend on the template you are using. I was using Chaotic Soul at the time I discovered this.

    Hi – I am very happy to find this thread as this is exactly my question. I confess that typing code makes me feel very out of my depth. I tried Timethief’s &nbsp; (using the backtick key – hope this is legible). I don’t know if this bit of code is added to the end of whatever code I already have in the text box, or if I need to press ‘return’ and then type it in… The other suggestion from timetheif and mymyspacelayout of `
    , and variations suggested above (such as <hr>) have me confused about whether there are space bars within the < and > signs. I am a total code ignoramus so don’t know the conventions.

    My URL is musicwork.wordpress.com – I am hoping to create space below the headings ‘Subscribe’ and ‘In Melbourne it is…’ , that is, space between the heading and the image. I also would like to have space below the images (the weatherpixie and the ‘subscribe’ button) so that the next heading below is not jammed right up under the image.

    Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

    i have the best luck using <br /> Put it in exactly as shown (with the space between the “r” and the “/”) wherever you want a break. It doesn’t have to be on its own line.
