Putting Categories beneath the header
-
So, I’ve been trying to figure out how to move some of my categories to just beneath my header, displayed alongside my pages. I would move one or two of the categories beside my contact info page. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this through CSS, but I can’t seem to work it out (I’m pretty new to it).
So my question is: Can I use CSS to display some of my categories alongside my pages (directly beneath the header), or do I have to use HTML?

It isn’t possible with Pool. See the themes in the left hand column in this blog post that will work with the outlined trick: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/26/page-tabs-as-external-links/ .

@stephenzook, the iNove Theme allows you to use Categories as a menu. It’s what I’m using on my blog. Unfortunately, you can’t have both categories and pages on the menu with this theme.

Thanks so much, your advice was really useful. I used Vigilance, and it’s working out great. Appreciate the assistance.

I can’t even figure out how to do categories at all. Nor how to change the title of the page. Is it possible?
