Putting HTML-links in my blog? Where?
-
Good evening, fellow chaps,
First, I would like to mention that english is not my native tongue, therefore you might find some spelling- or grammatical mistakes.I’m a Swedish blogger with approximately 50 readers every day, that according to WordPress. Blogging is popular in Sweden and there is this one specific site that ranks all the blogs in Sweden according to how many readers the blogs have. For this site to be able to keep track on my statistics, I need to paste some sort of HTML-link somewhere on my blog. I have no idea where to put it, mind you I don’t even know what HTML is. The site, Bloggportalen.se, says I shan’t paste it in an ordinary post, because it must be somewhere that is… constant – never changes.
Anyhow, the HTML-link looks like this:
<img src=”http://bloggportalen.aftonbladet.se/BlogPortal/view/Statistics?id=107965″ />
Any idea of where I can put it?Kind regards,
Lord George Josef.Post Scriptum – Please, do bear in mind that I am merely a blogger and not a computer pro.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Usually you use a Text Widget
Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets >> drag and drop the Text Widget to the Sidebar where you want it.
Make sure you have a plain html (no script) – it should be a matter of just copy and paste the html text they give you.

Thanks for all help, Raincoaster and Auxclass! I put the HTML in a Text widget! It worked perfectly fine.
Cheers.
