Putting your blog post under categories you created

    How do you delete categories from your blog posts? I have rearranged my blog and I do not need some of the categories I had in the past. When I go to post a new blog and put it under a category those still show up eventhough there is nothing in them. So I am just checking to make sure they are not visable. Thank you!

    Hello,

    To remove a category from your blog post you can click on the Categories & Tags module to the left of the editor and uncheck the box of the category name.

    To remove a category from your site you will need to go the Categories section in the wp-admin interface of your site: https://simplysouthernsparkle.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category

    From here, hover over the name of the category you wish to delete and you will notice some red Delete text appears. Click that and Ok and your category will be removed.
