puzzled about PDFs uplading but not opening

hello. I’m new to all this blogging malarkey so this is probably user error rather than a technical issue. I’m trying to add some info sheets to posts and after having no success with docs have converted them to PDFs and tried that. The ‘booking form’ pdf on this page is the only link that works http://experimentalclassroom.wordpress.com/tasters/ (opens to a http address with /attachement_ID49). No to other links work – such as this one open http://experimentalclassroom.wordpress.com/2008/01/28/massage-in-schools-taster/64/ .
Any ideas welcomed (the only difference i can see is that it works on a page but not a post?) -

thanks Ella. A friend called by as i was tearing my hair out and resolved the problem.
It seems that when you upload PDFs and click on send to Editor the code inserted is the address of the post to which it is attached not the address of the PDF. He looked at the original in my uploads folder, copied the link from there and pasted the address as you would if you were inserting a hyperlink to an external website.
Bingo, PDFs inserted and from within WordPress instead of having to store files on another website. I’m so relieved :o)
