Puzzled by post dates.

  I’m new, and I’ve only posted a couple of times. Like today, July 7. When I published the post, the date shown was July 8. Can someone tell me why?

  Is a puzzlement.

  The dates are set off the server time which happens to be GMT time (+ or – an hour maybe), so you must be somewhere which is less (I’m Mountain which is -7). Nothing to be concerned with, but that is why.

  You can also change the time on your blog, so it shows your local time when you post, etc. I find this useful because I’m rotten at doing conversions in my head. Set the time at Dashboard — > Options — > General and scroll down a bit.

  Thanks for your answers. I feel better now. I’m in Washington State–Pacific Time. I’ll fiddle around with the Dashboard and see if WP and I can get on the same page.
