    I’m having issues with my website and it has been going on for over a month.. to me being not very experienced in any of this this has been a nightmare. I would say the worst experience I have ever had with getting any type of help from customer service. It’s got me asking myself why would I continue to use WordPress at all. I bought my business pyramid lake guides from someone else they got the domain from namecheap and it’s hosted by wordpress.com. one day all of the sudden over a month ago I couldn’t sign into my website anymore . There was an error in the setup with the nameservers. I did what was asked to fix by updating the name servers with namecheap and now I have no website at all. With my knowledge and understanding of all this I’m going to need some help .. it seems this is not the place I’m going to find it with my skill level. This is a critical time for my business to have this page up and running and I’m in serious trouble. All this had cost me thousands

    Many thanks for reaching out. I’ve gone through your support history and it looks like there has been some confusion happening, so let me outline the situation as it stands now, and what that means going forward.

     I bought my business pyramid lake guides from someone else they got the domain from namecheap and it’s hosted by wordpress.com. one day all of the sudden over a month ago I couldn’t sign into my website anymore . 

    To provide some context – there’s two types of WordPress. The fist is WordPress.com whereby we manage hosting, security and automatic updates for your WordPress site. The second is WordPress.org, also known as self-hosted WordPress, which is whereby you would need source hosting yourself. There’s more on these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Previously, the site was in fact hosted with Namecheap and would have been using self-hosted WordPress, and you would have accessed the site via pyramidlakeguides.com/wp-admin/

    Currently, as the domain is now connected to WordPress.com, you would access the site via this WordPress.com account, using the credentials of this account. You would not go to pyramidlakeguides.com/wp-admin – which is why the username and passwords used previously would not help.

     This is a critical time for my business to have this page up and running and I’m in serious trouble. All this had cost me thousands
