QR Code on my cover page
-
where do I find my QR so that I can add it to my title page in the side bar? And how do I do that? I did not think to save it when I did my security authorization. Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
The QR is only used to set-up two step authentication on your WordPress.com site. You wouldn’t want to post it on your site as that would potentially allow a method of other users to log-in to your site. Does that make sense?
Let me know if I’m misunderstanding your question!

No, I understand. What is the code I see displayed on cover pages with a “QR” code for people to scan. And also, is there an OptinMonster widget available? I received an email explaining that this widget can downloaded from wpbeginner.com and it will increase my email subscribers list. Are they affiliated with WordPress.com? Thank you Jeremy.

Hi!
Can you point me to a site where you’re currently seeing the QR code? That will help me understand what you’re looking to do a bit more!
Regarding the widget, OptinMonster is a plugin widget meaning you would need to install a plugin to use that feature. It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:
However, we do have a “Follow Blog” widget that allows readers to subscribe to your blog as shown here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
This way, readers are automatically notified when you post to your blog through either email or their WordPress.com Reader. Would that work for what you’re looking to accomplish?
