Qualifying for WordAds

Hi, I am reactivating my yoga-topics blog. I see there’s an SSL certificate issue, but I will rectify that. Is there anything else preventing me from qualifying?

Hi there!
Your site needs to be on the WordPress.com Premium plan or higher to be able to activate WordAds on your site. You can go to https://wordpress.com/plans and upgrade the site to the Premium plan or higher.
You will also need to register or connect a custom domain to your WordPress.com site. I see you previously used a domain that’s no longer registered anywhere. Do you want to register that domain again?
Let us know how we can help and we’ll be happy to assist further. If you upgrade to Premium plan and pay annually, you can also access live chat support during the weekdays at https://wordpress.com/help/contact

Thanks for the reply.
I will forget about monetizing this blog in that case. My objective is to simply use this blog as part of a writing portfolio in the short term.
How do I change my http to an https? I don’t like potential employers coming to this link and then their browser telling them it’s unsafe and hazardous :)
