Quentin 0.9 – problems

  The Quentin 0.9 theme has no About link on the homepage and no Edit link at the bottom of each post. I know I can go into My Dashboard for the edit, but it would be nice to have it on the blog like most others. I really like this theme, but being able to get to the About page is really important.

  These changes to a theme are the kind of things best requested in a support ticket sent from your dashboard using the “Support” link, during support hours at the top right hand corner of any admin side blog page.

  Have you placed your Pages widget in your sidebar? This will provide some access.

  I think if I were you, I would run your blog past staff as I think it is in violation of the terms of service. The blogs here at wordpress.com are non-commercial only.

  the Content is not spam, and does not contain unethical or unwanted commercial content designed to drive traffic to third party sites or boost the search engine rankings of third party sites, or to further unlawful acts (such as phishing) or mislead recipients as to the source of the material (such as spoofing);

  my blog doesn’t contain unethical or unwanted commercial content and is not designed to drive traffic to any other place.

  I am thinking he was just mentioning it looks like your site is used to sell soup, but looks can be deceiving …. glad you fixed your problems.

  It’s a staff call. I put up something not a million miles away from that but first I sent it to staff to get the all-clear and they said fine. I gather (although this is only my impression) that the issue is really whether the main blog is used as a selling point. One static page with an offer might seem to come under “discreet text link to your business.” But again, that is just interpretation.
