Quentin Theme Column Width
-
I have very little experience with CSS so bear with me. I want to use the Quentin theme, but the central column width cuts off my photos on the right. Is there a relatively easy way to fix this or am I screwed? (I’ve purchases the CSS upgrade) My only other option is to go back and resize/repost all the photos, which doesn’t sound fun!
Thanks for any help!

Much easier is to resize your pictures with CSS. This does assume that they’re all larger than 470 pixels to begin with though, it could stretch smaller images and make them look terrible!
.post img {width:470px; height:100%;} -
That IS much easier and I figured it out, but now it resized some of the design elements on the site too – like the swirly kind of things and also it made a smiley face in one of my posts huge.

This will fix the seperator images but not the smiley face:
.post img.pmark {height:27px; width:102px;} -
And this will fix the one smiley I have checked (maybe not all of them if they’re different sizes):
.post img.wp-smiley {width:15px;} -
Or delete all of those and use this instead. It will still stretch your post images to be the width you specify if they’re smaller than the current width so it still might not be ideal:
.post img.size-full {width:425px; height:100%;} -
Thank you! That works great. I’ll have to work on the image quality and sizing, but it’s fine for now.
Do you know why some of the earlier posts have bold lettering?
Thank you so much for your help!!!!

“Do you know why some of the earlier posts have bold lettering?”
Because you’ve got several unclosed b tags in the post “A Day in the Life…”. You should switch the editor to HTML and delete all these:
<p><b><br /> <b></p>
