quentin theme malfunction
-
Yesterday the sidebar on my blog where my widgets used to be just vanished. The second-most-recent post on my blog has taken its place, and some of the widgets have been pushed out into the maroon margin where they’re not visible. Did something go wrong with the Quentin theme, or has something happened to my blog? I didn’t do anything differently than I’ve ever done. Please help! Thank you.

First off, go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “save changes” at the bottom of that page.
In “Pollo por poco” between the paragraph ending “Once upon a time these birds were fat.” and the next paragraph, there is a ending div tag, and a malformed div tag and then another beginning div tag that should not be there. Remove the following from between those two paragraphs:
</div><div/><div>Then to to the end of the last paragraph ending with “It’s legendary for a reason.” Remove the div tag after that paragraph.
</div>If that does not cure it, then go to settings > reading and set your blog to display only one post per page. Go back to the main blog page and look at each post one by one to see which post or posts are causing the issue. Open those posts in the editor and change one small thing (like adding a space and then removing it) and then click the “update post” button. That should straighten out any code issues. Repeat for each post that caused the blog to break.

Note that you will have to switch to the HTML tab in the editor to take out the div tags I mentioned.
