Query

Hi I am just wondering how I can get the profit and loss underneath each daily post on my blog? It works fine on PC’s as its to the right of the post. However when on phone or tablet readers have to scroll all the way to the bottom.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Niall, Because of the way most themes are designed, your sidebars drop to the bottom of the page on mobile devices. This makes your site readable on a small screen for visitors.
I have a solution for you to consider. You could take profit/loss text OUT of your sidebar and make it a “sticky” post. This would “stick” the post at the top of the page. It would always appear there, and all new posts would show up beneath it. This way, when viewed on a mobile device, the profit/loss would appear at the top of the page, rather than the bottom.
Let me know if this helps. If not, perhaps we could find another solution, if you tell me exactly how you need your page to behave. Cheers!

Hi Robyn and thank you for the reply! Is there anyway that it could turn out underneath each daily post? That would be the ideal scenario!

Hi Niall,
Due to the way posts display, I’m afraid you can’t really can’t display content like you’re suggesting, at least not on WordPress.com, since you don’t have access to modify the underlying code. One suggestion would be to create a page for this information and include a link to the page within each page. You could also include that link in your menu so it would be accessible there as well.
