  Hi Just logged in to discover some purchase information waiting for me but I haven’t attempted to purchase anything from wordpress my primary site magicmilda.wordpress.com is free to view and sufficient for purpose as it is and does not require updating … Please could you cancel this bizarre purchase as it appears to have been attempted by some other means (has my account been hacked for example ? and if so why didn’t YOU send me a OTP text to suggest someone had logged in ?

  Hi there,

  It happens to me very often, during the tinkering and clicking I end up adding something to my cart unintentionally. You can resolve this yourself by simply emptying the cart and the notifications and requests to pay should stop.

  I will also for staff attention, just in case there is something more to the security concerns you raised.

  This does seem to be a recurring issue and it relates to changes we’ve implemented recently when it comes to creating a site

  There’s nothing untoward here with regards to security, so if that purchase is not necessary, please feel free to remove this from the cart.

  Thank you Both, I had discovered the remove from cart button after posting … hopefully though the purchase was just a glitch, as hadn’t touched anything or even been on the site (was busy removing and re-installing web browser to see if it would fix a video problem)
