  can i add instagram or pinterest to the footer of the “my life” theme? If so, how do I do that? I blog at http://www.seekingquerencia.me. I’d appreciate any help. Thanks, Lydia Kimble-Wright

  Hey Lydia.

  Yes! You can add an Instagram widget to your site:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-widget/

  You can also add a Pinterest widget, although through a Text widget, just build your widget here: http://business.pinterest.com/en/widget-builder and then add a new Text widget with the code you get from Pinterest.

  About the footer location… My Life theme does not handle footer widgets :-(.

  If you want to add widgets to the footer area of your site you will need a new theme. There’s a bunch of themes which have a footer feature: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/search/footer/.

  One that I specially like is this one: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/origin/ — and it has many widget areas.
