  Hi,

  I am planning to purchase wordpress.com ecommerce theme and use woo commerce on it. Please help me with the below questions:

  1. How much traffic can the ecommerce plan handle?
  2. Where are the hosting servers located?
  3. I am planning to customise the backend of the woocommerce store using PHP code. I will be adding new features and sections on the backend. Can such customisation be done if I buy hosting from wordpress.com?

  How much traffic can the ecommerce plan handle?

  There are no traffic limits on the ecommerce plan. The only limit on the plan is the 200 GB storage space for media, which should not be an issue with the kind of site you are describing.

  Where are the hosting servers located?

  We use a global CDN (Content Delivery Network) to serve your site from the server that is closest to the person that is visiting your site. More info here: https://wordpress.com/support/site-speed/#what-we-do-to-optimize-your-site
