Query on Free Plan

  Hi I have a free plan for years that I use to test my own wordpress site changes on and its fine. Its a xxxxx.wordpress.com site.

  I want to create another xxxxx.wordpress.com site as a temporary site while I build and deploy a new site for a friend but I cant find anywhere to setup a xxxxx.wordpress.com site. In every option all I get is buy a domain or link to a domain you own.

  I dont want either. Is the xxxxx.wordpress.com gone ?

  If not Id appreciate a link to where I go or instructions.

  Hi,

  In every option all I get is buy a domain or link to a domain you own.

  Right now the signup process does try to feature paid domains, but you should still be able to pick a free name too. It might show as a .home.blog address (or similar subdomain) but those are also free.
