  2. You can transfer the domain away any time 60 days after registration, this is a regulation imposed on all domain registrars by ICANN: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/

  However, you can direct the domain anywhere at any time by just changing its name servers: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/change-name-servers/
