  I need to create a website for a political candidate that will be running this year. When I Google about WordPress it says I can do everything put on donations and everything else for free I’m not understanding your site after reading that and where are my downloading this from it’s not coming off of wordpress it’s coming from like a third party

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Over here you have the wordpress.com platform where everything is taken care of for you. On the other hand you have the open source wordpress.org wher you have to take of everything: security, updates, upgrades, … More info is at https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  You can use WordPress.com to create your site, and accept donations as outlined here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/donations/
