  With it officially being February, and the Twenty Seventeen theme still not being released, can I suggest that the WP.com team start working on the Twenty Eighteen theme so that it might actually be released on time in December of this year?

  Can we at least have SOME sort of idea on ANY update as to the status of Twenty Seventeen? Word around the net says Twenty Seventeen will be released the first day of Summer, 2017. Is this true?

  I’m sorry we don’t have any updates on this, and I can see that you’re frustrated. There is some underlying technical scaffolding that needs to go up on WordPress.com before we can launch Twenty Seventeen and I do not have an ETA on when that will be completed.
